There are a lot of exercises you could do but here are three that should keep your body toned throughout the week. To further help your physical condition, ten minutes of a cardio activity (jogging, running, biking, swimming or brisk walking), should be done to complement your exercise routine. Three times a week is adequate enough to keep your body toned and fit.
Lifts
With this exercise, you will gain more muscle on your back, butt, and shoulders. Lie face down with your legs and arms extended. Lift you left arm and right leg off the floor simultaneously. Now switch and do the opposite. Sixteen reps or more can be done according to how you feel.
The Press
This exercise will strengthen your triceps, front shoulders, and your chest. A small pair of dumbbells are used for this exercise. With your back on the floor and your knees bent, hold the dumbbells extended above your chest. Without moving your back from the floor, you’ll feel your abs stretch. When coming down with the dumbbells, your elbows need to line up with the shoulders. Then straighten arms again. Do about sixteen repetitions or more on both sides, depending on how you feel.
Crunches
By doing this exercise, your abs are strengthened. Lie on your back and make sure the back heels of your feet are parallel to the ground and the hips are lined up with the knees. Place your hands under the back of your head, with the elbows opened. Lift your hips from the floor using your abdomen, and then bring your knees towards the chest. While the knees are being raised towards the chest, bring your head and shoulders towards your knees. With your back remaining on the floor, you should feel strain in your abs. Lower everything again and do about 16 reps or whatever your body can handle.
There are other variations you might prefer that accomplish the same thing or machines to help you with it.
